Whoami

I was born in Guwahati, Assam, and spent most of the childhood I remember in a refinery township in the Kaziranga National Forest.

Here's my blueprint:

1. My specs - minimal SSD but good amount of RAM. CPU auto-overclocks with interest.

2. Volo ergo sum. I do things because I want to do them, and I assume the same for others.

3. I’m simultaneously lazy and competitive. (Competitive with the awareness of what is a game and what is more important, like people’s feelings)

4. Practice unconditional positive regard. We are lucky to be together (at a common point in the infinite fabric of spacetime). Parable of the long spoons.

5. We are lucky to be alive and doing what we do. I try to carry the attitude of gratefulness with me everyday. Leave it better than you found it. Stay hydrated.

6. Talk to me. I like to listen. I can’t read minds, I can only empathise with the information i have. Communication of information is always lossy. I’d rather grok *what* someone is saying than focus on *how* they said it.

7. I loathe learned helplessness. It often *is* that simple. If chaos can be modelled, anything should be able to be approximated at least. Even if the model is incomplete, a few first principles are better than none.

8. I love efficiency. I’ll always be looking for the shortest easiest path that gets us the farthest. Minimum collective effort for maximum collective happiness.

9. Jack of all, master of some. I like learning about everything. Everything is connected. We split the spectrum as a tool to aid understanding, but boundaries are as real as money.

10. I love analogies. The universe is fractal and similar patterns are found in many scales in (from our perspective) seemingly unrelated things so I like to take advantage of that property to communicate.
